About Us

Freedom Baptist Church began in 1983 when a group of believers felt God was leading them to begin a community of faith in Keystone Heights. Freedom is an Independent Baptist Church conveniently located between Jacksonville and Gainesville in the heart of the lake region area.

Our Purpose

We are committed to helping believers live as authentic followers of Christ. We seek to fulfill two great purposes: Love God and Love People. We seek to glorify God in all we do. We do this through the pursuit of our beliefs and values. We believe everyone has a next step in their journey of faith and discipleship.
